Welcome...
Since 1941, the IBEW and the NECA, through their NJATC, have been educating apprentices through a nationwide network of state-of-the-art facilities. For more than 25 years, the curriculum has included skills training in energy efficient technologies. At over 300 trainning centers throughout the United States, NJATC instructors are teaching thousands of apprentices how to work with the latest green technologies.
The NJATC aims to provide the manpower required to meet the nation's growing green demands - and the assurance of high quality, cost-effective installations. Each apprentice undergoes 1,000 hours of classroom instruction and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training en route to becoming a journey-level electrician. |
