Members Honored at September 2003 Meeting
2003 Retiree Dinner
50, 55 & 60 Year Service Pin Presentation
On September 2nd the members and officers of Local 43 gathered at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool, New York to honor the 2003 retirees. Each retiree was presented with an IBEW watch as a gift from the Local. The following members retired in 2003: Jeff Barkley, Michael Brown, David Church, David Darrow, Richard Dubiel, James Maher, Ted Marciniak, Dave O'Reilly, Tony Righi, James J. Ryan, Pierre St. Amour, Dan Tice and John Woods.
Also at this meeting, members celebrating 50, 55 and 60 years of service with the IBEW were honored. Those members achieving 50 years of service in 2003 were: Charles Bateman, Al Paniccia Jr., and Kenneth Spears.
Those members achieving 55 years of service in 2003 were: Dennis Hanifan, Robert Keating, Vincent Long, John Palmisano and Harold Tiner.
Also celebrating a service anniversary in 2003 with 60 years of membership is President Emeritus John J. Barry.

2nd Year Apprentice Leaves for Iraq
Jeff Barrella was called up to serve in the Navy. Before he left, his class gave him a going away party. We celebrate Jeff's service to our country and pray for his quick and safe return.
