On 10/19/2006, Mohawk Valley Construction Industry Development hosted their 4th Annual Construction Career Day for over 400 high school students from across the Mohawk Valley. The day was filled with a number of hands on exhibits (from operating machinery to laying brick) and valuable information on educational and training programs. Students had the opportunity to talk with skilled trades people and be introduced to the latest construction equipment. The purpose was to introduce students and the public to the unlimited opportunties available to them in the construction industry. The event was a complete success.
