As you know, the outbreak of Covid-19 is impacting all of us and it has understandably caused worry. I wanted to write to
you to set out what we are doing at IBEW Local 43 and share the attached information from CDC regarding the Coronavirus

Our clear commitment is that we will continue to put our sisters and brothers interests first. Members who have symptoms of
acute respiratory illness are recommended to stay home and not come to work until they are free of fever (100.4° F [37.8° C]
or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of
fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants). Members must notify their supervisor and stay
home if they are sick.
The prescription refill parameters have been extended to allow members/participants to refill maintenance medications when
50% of the current supply has been utilized (industry standard is 75%) at retail pharmacies and at the Sav-Rx Mail
Order Pharmacy. Please note this does not apply to opioids or controlled substances. Participant cost share (copay) will apply.
If you have been exposed to the coronavirus or you have symptoms, seek care. Teladoc Virtual care is proven to be a highly
effective method for evaluating risk and will provide support by phone or video to help relieve symptoms.
Instructions on how to download the app to talk to a doctor anytime, anywhere by phone or video, are as follows:
- Download the app - Search for "Teladoc" in the App Store or on Google Play.
- Set up your account - Once you've downloaded the app, select "Set up your account".
- Enter basic contact information - Provide some information about yourself to confirm eligibility. We'll confirm we found your benefits and you'll continue creating your account.
- Create your account - Enter your address and phone number, create a username and password, pick security questions, and agree to terms and conditions.
