Partners in Scholarship...
Onondaga Community College and IBEW/NECA are proud to announce
a new partnership which will create student scholarships and
improve athletic and cultural experiences for students,
                faculty, staff and visitors.

Together, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW),
Local 43, and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA),
Finger Lakes Chapter, are giving the College a generous gift totaling
$350,000, which will be used to add additional funds to the existing
“IBEW/NECA Community Scholars Scholarship.” The IBEW/NECA Scholarship
is part of the College’s Community Scholars program, which awards up to
$1,000 in scholarship money to incoming high school graduates, adult
learners, and former Onondaga students who did not complete their
degree but are within 15 credits of completion.

In addition, the fit from IBEW/NECA supports the SRC Arena and Events Center,
which serves students and community members by providing a variety of sports,
