Re-sign Rules

Referral Re-registration (re-sign) rules:

Web re-sign can ONLY be used for subsequent re-signs.All original registrations for Local 43, IBEW referral system must be made in person at the Local 43 Referral Office from: 8AM to Noon and 1PM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday (except holidays) using the registration form supplied by the Local 43 Referral Office for that purpose.

Applicants who wish to be considered for "specialty" calls (i.e. welding, instrumentation, etc.) MUST register their specialties with the referral agent. Anyone not so registered shall not be considered for such calls. Proof of qualification for a specialty may be required.

Re-sign shall be required monthly beginning on the 10th and ending on the 16th of each month. Re-signs will ONLY be accepted between the 10th at 12:00 AM and the 16th until 11:59 PM of each month.
Re-sign may be accomplished via the Member Referral Portal, US Mail, Fax or In-person. (fax re-signs are not required to be sent from the home local union)
Re-signs will require the following information: Name, address, home local # and IBEW card number, or if not a union member, a drivers license or government approved ID.

Normal dispatch hours should be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on regular business days. Applicants for employment are responsible to make themselves available for job assignments during these hours.

It is the Business Manager's responsibility to fill employer man-power requests in a timely fashion. Therefore, in an emergency, calls may be filled outside of normal dispatch hours by whatever means necessary to meet this obligation.
